Trying to learn and understand all things blog! I have happened across a Thursday Doors challenge and because I have always loved doors, I will post a few from my recent NYC trip.
The Plaza Hotel, It was High Tea Time!
Walking the streets of NYC I took many photos of Doors,
Oh… if they could only speak the stories they could tell!
I love the street numbers on the doors, the are all so unique, the lights are so
old and interesting also!
Those details though!
Elevator doors need love too! This one is in The Chelsea Market.
these are lovely and so diverse )

So wonderful!! I also love doors! I remember growing up my great aunt had a poster with photographs of maybe 25 doors. To this day it is a favorite of mine and also a huge inspiration! Super cool challenge.

What fascinating door photos you gathered in NYC! And you’re right. Doors do hold a particular fascination for many of us. In part, it’s the variety, creativity, and beauty that draws us. And those constructed decades ago do beg the questions, What have they seen? What would they tell us if they could speak? Perhaps it’s part curiosity, too, wondering what’s on the other side. But I’m thinking there’s a heart response also, because all doors can remind us of the One who called himself “the door” to abundant living now and eternal life in heaven to come (John 10:7-10)–Jesus. To me, he’s the best door of all! P.S. Thank you for becoming a follower of my blog, From the Inside Out. I pray you’ll find the posts meaningful!

I couldn’t agree more wholeheartedly! I’m sure I will find them meaningful, as I attend a campus of the largest church in the US and have been baptized earlier this year! Whoever finds God, finds life!
Thanks for the reply!
